All balances above 40lb are purpose made to the weight and length required. These are heavy duty balances, purpose made to suit actual sash or hatch weights. They incorporate a mechanical feature which allows for fine adjustment to be made (using a heavy duty tension key) 'on-site' thus achieving accurate equilibrium with the sash and subsequently minimum effort required to lift heavier installations.

These balances are particularly recommended for retirement homes, hospitals or nursing homes. Balances exceeding the weight of 95lbs but below 120lbs incorporate a mechanical feature which allows you to fi ne tune balances with a screw driver.

Within this purpose made range we keep stock of popular length balances in weight ranges of 40-50lb, 50 65lb, 65-75lb, etc, all available for next day delivery.
